The Korea Overseas Fisheries Association will firmly protect overseas territories and fulfill its role as a national food industry.

The Korean deep sea fishery reached out overseas in 1957 with a pioneering spirit, and has since traveled to the vast sea of the tropical South Pacific, the high latitudes of the North Pacific and Antarctica, and the Atlantic Ocean with its outstanding qualities and challenging spirit.

Now, through the sweat and passion of many, bold investments and advanced technology, we have established food territories in every corner of the globe and become one of the world's top five deep sea fishery countries.

In this globalized world, the self-sufficiency is a matter of national security. our association and its members are working to ensure that our offshore territories remain secure and that our industry is a sustainable, smart place for young people to pursue their aspirations.

We will make our ongoing efforts to satisfy the national demand for fish and to contribute to the national economic growth through the increase in export.
